Boarding News

End of half term message (October 2020)

Students are all getting used to being back at school and are getting used to the house routines – it was a bit of a shock to the system having to get up early to get into breakfast! Some of the many activities that we have put on this term include sporting Saturdays with dodgeball, football and athletics.

Toast time is a time for the students to relax and watch some TV with their friends or, in the case of the girls, dance to some popular music.   The younger students have all settled into boarding very well and enjoy a bedtime story most nights.

At the end of this half term we always put on a trick and treat evening for the students. This year, they enjoyed the decorations that Miss Martin, Mr Smith, the pastoral team and Mrs Fairclough put up, just for them – the students all came away very happy.

We have appointed House Monitors in Chapter House  and congratulations go to Jada and Pranav, who have been doing a great job. We are looking forward to the next half term when we will be holding some more great activities.

Best wishes,

Mrs Day
